Pender Ville Ltd. is all geared to commence with the construction of the multi-million project to develop the Pender Place and Mercury House Sites. The development consists of a mix of residential and commercial areas, as well as ample open spaces for both residents and the general public.

The concept behind Pendergardens aims at achieving a modern and contemporary lifestyle based on quality, open spaces, generous living spaces and convenience – where everything surrounds you.

Pendergardens was given the green light following the recent MEPA public hearing, which was held after a lengthy planning process of no less than sixteen months which included the submittal of several detailed studies such as a full Environmental Impact Assessment and Traffic Impact Statements.

The gated residential development will be targeted at the upper-middle market segment and priced accordingly. The residential zone will be totally car free, providing a safe, quiet and tranquil environment within walking distance of Spinola and St. George’s Bay.

Practically all of the 330 residential units will overlook the landscaped piazza, the size of Piazza Regina in Valletta set on two tumoli of land, or the landscaped pedestrian streets. The higher-level apartments will enjoy panoramic views of Spinola, Balluta Bay and beyond.

Pendergardens also includes a substantial area for 16 semi-detached exclusive Villas which will be accessible through a private landscaped road reserved solely for the villa owners. These villa will also create a buffer for the existing villas in ‘The Gardens’.

The residences at   Pendergardens include a variety of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments Malta including some very spacious penthouses with far reaching views especially from The Towers. There will also be exclusive residential parking.

The Mercury site will focus around a very large open public piazza surrounded by a mix of retail and up-market leisure outlets. The commercial tower will offer ready to move into office spaces. The original Mercury House will be fully restored. An underground public car park will also be provided. “This promises to revamp the gateway to Paceville” states Mr. Edmund Gatt Baldacchino. 

Mr. Gatt Baldacchino adds “We are now very eager and prepared to start. Over the last one-and-a half-years we have recruited the management team and consultants and have been planning in detail the various phases of the project. We have gone to great lengths to deliver quality”

The team is headed by Peter Diacono, the CEO. Michael De Maria is the Sales and Marketing Manager. Arch. Peter Zammit and Sandro Schembri will be leading the Project Management and Cost Management teams respectively.

Bencini & Associates are the project Architects whilst Mediterranean Technical Services Ltd. have been appointed as M&E Consultants.
